Jean-Philippe Gauvrit (né en 1963) est un photographe et poète français. Après avoir obtenu son diplôme en sciences de gestion, il a poursuivi une carrière professionnelle au sein d'entreprises internationales, ce qui l'a conduit avec sa famille en Asie en 2001. Pendant 18 ans, il a participé à la transformation économique et sociale de la région, en Chine, en Inde et en Asie du Sud-Est.
En plus de jongler avec le travail et les responsabilités familiales, il a suivi ses propres passions artistiques dans la poésie et la photographie.
En 2013, il a développé la maladie de Ménière, une maladie chronique qui l'a obligé à changer sa façon de vivre.
Après des séries de photographies qui questionnaient l'absurdité du monde postmoderne, il allie aujourd'hui poésie et photographie dans ses œuvres personnelles, dans une approche plus introspective et spirituelle, utilisant notamment la photographie en pleine conscience.
Jean-Philippe est titulaire d’un Post-Graduate Certificate en Photograpie Thérapeutique (Université Robert Gordon) et propose des ateliers de photographie. Il est également un coach professionnel, un mentor et un consultant en affaires, aidant ses clients à faire face aux carrières intensives.
Il est marié, père d'une famille internationale de 4 enfants et 6 petits-enfants. Il partage son temps entre le Cotentin, Paris et Londres.
