"Intimate Landscapes" is a meditation, a contemplation, in images and words, in search of a glimmer of the sacred, in the light that grazes the sand, in a tree bled dry and broken by the storm, in the footsteps of animals that pierce the darkness and suddenly disappear...

We construct the landscape, with our history, our personality, our culture, our presence, in photography, or otherwise. Entering the intimacy of the landscape would therefore be an illusion, and would be a matter of unveiling oneself, in a game of mirrors, thus experimenting with what the American photographer Minor White suggested, namely that "all photographs are self-portraits".

And it is perhaps in this unveiling, and in the awareness of the inner experience lived when we connect with the world, that the first trace of the sacred is to be found...

​Aberration is a Photopoetry suite of 37 poems produced with randomly selected English words and 27 photographs of mine.
In a world of representation saturated with images and buzz words, I explored what playing with poetry and photography still means to me, and how their paths could cross beyond reality, concepts, and sense. This book is about playfulness, about using randomness and a minimalist material, and let creativity find its own flow, like real life does, welcoming and appreciating whatever emerges.
